      There ya go! First Etsy finds in 3 years!

 

A lot has happened in 3 years...

The last time I really posted on this blog (not counting the "Hello" post on Feb. 21,2012) was almost 3 years ago! Boy, have we been through a lot in 3 years. 

So here's an update on the Tews! Here's the bad: my Mother had a major stroke and we almost lost her and that caused me to develop a crippling anxiety disorder. This happened in September of 2010. The whole summer of 2010 was just horrible! My grandfather passed away and then about two weeks later is when my Mom had her stroke. My Mom survived but she had a very long road to recovery. In the middle of dealing with that and the anxiety my husband got a job as a computer programmer and then just a few months later was let go due to company downsizing. Bad news all around. But even while he was unemployed things started to look up. My Mom was getting better everyday, my anxiety got better and in January 2012 Jay got a wonderful job! 

And that's the start of the good updates: With the wonderful new job something even more wonderful happened....WE GOT PREGNANT! Scarlett Tew was born in November 2012! Now that Miss Scarlett in 6 months old and I have a little more free time I thought it would be a good time to start blogging again. Lets see if I can keep this up!
